Saturday morning, we had a nice breakfast, played with Ali, and did some clean-up/chores while Ali took her morning nap. That afternoon, we went out to a fund-raiser for Candle-lighters of Brevard (Julia's party for a cause) at Paradise Beach. This little girl had a story very similar to Eddie's experience and we just wanted to show our support. We enjoyed the afternoon on the beach, then went to church Saturday evening. Sunday morning, we got the boat out, cleaned it up, and went out on C-54 for the first time this summer. Eddie and I had a great time with Ali and Hailey out on the water. Very relaxing and a great opportunity for us to reflect on all the fun times and great memories we have made together over the last 7 years. Sunday evening, we took dinner to Nyla & Chris, friends of ours that just had a baby. A great way to wrap up a great weekend. Monday (our actual anniversary), Eddie and Ali came home with a beautiful pot full of pink tulips... my favorite! Then we had a nice dinner date at Outback.
I feel SO blessed to have such a wonderful loving husband to share my life with and to be such a great father to our beautiful little girl. Thanks for all you do! I love you Eddie!
