Shuttle Launch & Mayo visit

Today marked the milestone of the Final launch of Atlantis and of NASA's shuttle program (1981-2011)...
On our way to Jacksonville for Eddie's Mayo appointment,
we joined the crowds to witness this moment in history.

Avery didn't quite get the best view of the launch... it was a little dark in my belly!
Ali anxiously awaited the big launch... this wasn't her first shuttle viewing!
Our view from the cape (on a cloudy overcast day)
After an exciting shuttle launch, and lots of traffic... we made our way up I-95 to the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Jaeckle said Eddie's scan looked identical to last years,
which was "Absoutely Outstanding"!!!
This was incredible news 1 week prior to the birth of our new little girl -

It has been 1 year since the last scan, and 4 1/2 years since the big surgery.
Our prayers have continued to be heard and we are forever grateful!
GOD IS SO GOOD!
I love you Eddie!  You are a wonderful husband, friend, and father!

4th of July!

Since we were only a week away from meeting the newest addition to our family, we decided to re-locate our annual Holden Beach vacation to Melbourne, Florida!  Pat & Ron, Amie & the kids (Katherine, Nathaniel, and Charlotte), Me & Eddie & Ali had tons of fun at the beach July 4th week!

We adventured out to Camp Holly for an Airboat Ride in the St. John's River...

We celebrated Charlotte's 3rd Birthday a day early with a Barbie cake...
And watched the fireworks over the Melbourne Causeway from the back of the truck...
