T-2 weeks... and counting!

37 weeks - the plan is to induce Friday, April 10th!

We enjoyed our last long weekend with just the two of us (& Hailey)...

We took several long walks, rode bicycles, went to the beach, took a nap, went to church, wrote thank you notes, cleaned up the house, visited w/ friends, and worked on a few other projects...

You can see the Significant Changes for sure!

The Nursery's Almost Ready!

Thanks to Dru & Eddie's help painting, and Mama & Daddy's help putting up the shelving in the closet, the nursery is almost ready for the final addition... our little girl! It is so precious...

Baby Shower - Florida Friends

Caroline, Keenan, and friends coordinated an awesome Baby Shower for Eddie and I to help us celebrate our 1st little miracle... We enjoyed the beautiful Florida weather and visiting with friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors on Sunday afternoon.

3/6/09 = Eddie's B-day = 35 weeks = 5 week count down
The girls at work pulled one over on me! They arranged for a surprise baby shower...
They had to think long and hard to come up with this scheme! But they thought of everything... a "decoy shower" the following week... planned on Eddie's b-day so that he could coordinate our special lunch date... everything was all decorated, and they even had a special birdhouse cake made (to match the theme in the nursery)... I was surprised!

This is a difficult bunch of guys to get corralled into one room... especially for a baby shower!!! Good work Kelle ;)

Baby Shower - Family & Friends in NC

Eddie's mom and sisters hosted a BABY shower for us and a BRIDAL shower for Carrie (Eddie's sister) in NC. This was our first shower to get us ready for the new phase of our life... We had a great turn out and enjoyed seeing our friends and family too!

On the Friday before Valentine's Day, we got together with our friends Caroline & Mark to take a few pictures and document this special time in our lives.

Caroline has her own photography business (Caroline Nicole Photography) and is very talented in both the picture taking, and the post image processing! She and Mark have a son Christopher, and a little girl on the way due in May!

It's lots of fun to have such special friends to share in these exciting times!

Starting to See Some Significant Changes!

30 Weeks!!! April 17th is just around the corner...

6th Ultrasound (30 weeks)

Our little girl was a little shy today... she had her back to us, so no new pictures. She now wieghs 3lbs 5oz, and is very active! All her measurements are right on track for her gestational age, which reflects good management of my sugars.

You can definitely tell i'm pregnant now! The baby is moving around lots... if I sit still, you can watch my belly move!

Eddie and I spent last weekend in San Antonio, Texas

w/ Amie, Lyell, Katherine(5), Nathaniel(3), & Charlotte (7mo)

Baby Myers in 3D!

Today we got to see Baby Myers in 3D/4D Ultrasound! She's already a well photographed baby and she's only 27 wks and 4 days! Just imagine the pictures once she's born...

God's blessings and the miracle of life are truly amazing!

5th ultrasound (25 weeks, 3 days)
Today we had another routine ultrasound to check the growth rate of the baby. Everything is perfect! All the measurements put her right on track for the expected growth.
She weighs about 28 oz (1lb 12 oz) and is ~14" in length!
During the ultrasound, we could see her little lips moving... the tech said she was either eating or talking... most likely talking, since it's a little girl ;)










Eddie and I had a great Christmas and New Years in North Carolina. We brought back some furniture for the nursery and are excited about getting everything moved around and set up!

Ultrasound Update!

12/08/08
4th ultrasound (21 weeks, 3 days)
Today we had an ultrasound & echocardiogram to check out the baby's heart. Everything is perfect! She weighs about 16 oz (1lb) and is ~10-12" in length!

She's an active little baby, the doctor said she did 3 full circles during the ultrasound!

Eddie and I are excited about spending the holidays with family & friends in NC!

Today was a big day for my brother, Dru also... he completed his check ride with the FAA Examiner for his private pilot, instrument and commercial ratings in both single-engine and multi-engine complex aircraft!!! Congratulations Dru!!!

We've Reached the Half Way Mark!!!

It's hard to believe we've reached the half way mark!
Things couldn't be better.
I'm beginning to feel the baby moving quite a bit now... reality is setting in.
We bought a crib... our 1st real baby purchase... even more of a reality check!
