Seven Weeks and Ready to Ride

Born to Ride... Uncle Dru was visiting for the week and happened to find the perfect "fixer upper" bike for Ali... "it just needs a new windshield, foot pegs and farrings, and it will look like new!" Uncle Dru will make sure we have a country girl at heart!

Ali's 1st Golf Outing

Daddy & Uncle Dru were headed out to play a round of golf down at Sebastian. Ali and I decided to tag along and watch them play 18 holes. We started off with the stroller for the front 9, then the rain set in...Ali and I took shelter in the club house, then me the boys on the back 9 and caught a ride back - We had fun, and Dru said Ali must have been good luck... he played his best round of golf ever!
After we finished up on the golf course, we had worked up an appetite, so we went to Capt. Hirams for a relaxing dinner on the river. Ali loved the warm breeze - it put her right to sleep!

Growing Like a Weed...

Today Ali had her 6 1/2 Week Check up w/ Dr. Mas
She's doing great... growing like a weed!
She weighs 11 lbs 6 oz and is 21 3/4 inches long!

Ali Meets Her Cousins!

Eddie's sister and her family planned their big family vacation to Orlando, Florida to experience Disney World! We were so excited to know that they would only be an hour away and not half way accross the country!
Amie, Lyell, Katherine (5), Nathaniel (3), and Charlotte (11mo) made the trip down to our house for dinner Thursday afternoon. We had fun introducing Ali to all of her cousins and her Aunt Amie & Uncle Lyell.
The following evening, Eddie and I took Ali over to Orlando - We had a great dinner with the Jones family at T-REX restaurant in Down Town Disney. Ali slept the whole time in her little kangaroo pouch...

We look forward to lots more fun when we see them in Jamaica for Carrie's wedding!!!

My 1st Mothers Day!

I'm so excited to be a the proud mother to our new baby girl! Being a mother has redefined the meaning of "LOVE". I LOVE my Mama, and I LOVE Eddie, but the LOVE I have for Ali is indescribable. I just pray that I can be as good of a mother to Ali as my Mama was for me!

This Mother's Day, Ali decided to take an extra long nap after we got back from our walk.

The best 6 years of my life...

Today we celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary!
I couldn't be happier!
We've grown closer to each other and closer to God. We challenge each other daily to be better people and to make the most out of every day.
We could not think of a better way to celebrate this anniversary than with our little miracle of life. We're so blessed in so many ways!
