Ali's 16mo Stats...

She's right on track...

She weighs 24 lbs (55%) up from 21 lbs 13 oz (50%) @12months
and is 31" tall (60%) up from 30" tall (75%) @12months

She is doing all the right things developmentally...

Walking/Running without even thinking twice!
Blowing kisses & giving BIG hugs... Sooo sweet!
Her jabbering is starting to turn into more understandable words, and she is using her sign language to tell us what she wants. This is great! She knows: more, hungry, thirsty, swim, cereal, jump, clap, dance, smile, wave, hug, kiss, blow kisses, high five, ball...
Starting to say more real words and repeat what you say- her first real word was "Tur-tle", she can also say "Duck", "quack quack", "Baby", "Ali", "Boat", "Nana", "Amie", "Dog", "Hi", "air-plane", "all done"...
She has been teething like crazy! @ 12 month, she only had 2 teeth on the bottom, NOW, she has a mouth full... top 4, bottom 4, 4 molars!
She is a good eater... She has been experimenting w/ drinking from a cup and feeding herself using a fork or spoon. Her favorites are chicken nuggets (like her daddy), cheese, apples, bananas, cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, mac & cheese, milk

She loves being outside... especially playing with leaves, rocks, sticks, and playing w/ her dolls and Hailey...
She enjoys the water! The beach, the boat, the pool, the bath/shower...
We just started Ali in ISR training. This is Infant Swim Resource, an aquatic survival training that teaches young children to do a swim/float/swim sequence and learn the reflex skills for survival. http://www.infantswim.com
She is learning so much and so fast! She can point to her eyes, nose, ears, hair, toes, shoulder, teeth, smile, bellybutton.

Eddie and I are having so much fun with Ali and enjoying watching her learn and grow. She is such a happy baby and is learning something new every day! It's so hard to believe that she is almost 16 months old - where has this year gone? it's already August!!! We're just trying to take lots of pictures to capture all the memories and cherish every second with our precious little girl.

We are so blessed!

Holden Beach w/ the Whole Myers Family!

4th of July at Holden Beach...

This was a very special week that we look forward to each year. This year all the Myers kids (Amie, Carrie & Eddie) were married, had their spouses w/ them at the beach and all had kids... and they were all old enough to play together on the beach! What fun and special memories!

Last June/July we were all in Jamaica for the beautiful destination wedding, and in NC for the reception.
