Week Three... not slowing down!

What a precious little girl!
Ali likes her bouncy seat ;)
Caroline came over to take some pictures of Ali and her son, Chris, taught Hailey some new tricks with his goldfish treats!
I love how Eddie looks at Ali
Ali loves making faces when lying on her changing table and looking in the mirror.
Ali and I had a big day on Saturday...
We went to church, stopped by Fred Lee Park to wish Alyssa Happy 2nd Birthday, then went to a Baby Shower for Caroline & Alyson, and met Eddie downtown at the Melbourne Arts Festival!

Week Two

This week Mama and Daddy went back to NC, and Eddie went back to work... so this is my 1st week with just me & Ali. She has been great.
We went to her follow up appointment w/ Dr. Mas to check her weight (8lbs 6oz now), we ran some errands around town, and took several long walks.
At night, she's been sleeping about 3 1/2 - 4 hours after I feed her... this is definitely a different schedule than I'm used to, but no complaints here -
She's learned to love her bath time - and she found her thumb all on her own. All relaxed after a nice warm bath...
Eddie thinks that Ali's shirt accurately describes her appetite...
"What do I want?
MILK!
When do I want it?
NOW!"
In preparation for our trip to Jamaica for Carrie's wedding, we went to Merrit Island today to pick up Ali's birth certificate and apply for her passport!

Ali's 1st Walk around the nieghborhood

The day after we came home from the hospital, we took Ali for her first walk around the neighborhood. After 9 months of me carrying around our baby girl... Eddie was very excited about it finally being his turn to carry Ali on her first walk! Notice the snuggili... this was what he was carried around in 29 yrs ago!

Later in the evening, we decided to go for a stroll - she loved it!

Surprise Baby Shower from Friends @ Work

3/6/09 = Eddie's B-day = 35 weeks = 5 week count down
The girls at work pulled one over on me! They arranged for a surprise baby shower...
They had to think long and hard to come up with this scheme! But they thought of everything... a "decoy shower" the following week... planned on Eddie's b-day so that he could coordinate our special lunch date... everything was all decorated, and they even had a special birdhouse cake made (to match the theme in the nursery)... I was surprised!

This is a difficult bunch of guys to get corralled into one room... especially for a baby shower!!! Good work Kelle ;)
