Today was a big day for us... we had our final appointment with Dr. Moralis at Florida Perinatal. He has been a great doctor and very re-assuring throughout the entire pregnancy that I'm doing everything in my power to make sure this little girl is as healthy as possible.
We had an ultrasound Bio-Physical Profile (BPP) to check for a number of different elements. (fetal body movements, tone, breathing movements, and amniotic fluid volume) As usual,
she scored a perfect 8/8!
They also took measurements to estimate the size/weight of the baby... she measured to be
6lbs 3oz, and 51% on the growth charts for 35 wks and 6 days.
And to top all of that off,
she has assumed the proper position... head down! The last few weeks, she has been transverse... usually by this time, they are running out of room and need to make their move - the sooner the better. Just a day or so before the appointment I told Eddie that I thought she had made her move, and she did~
Looks like we are on track for another cooperative little girl!
(Ali sure does have our expectations set high!)
The plan as of today is not to go past 39 weeks (July 15th), so that means we have at most 3 weeks to go before we get to meet our precious little girl!
