Eddie continues his travels...

Eddie is traveling with work to Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia this week and next... He survived his lllllllong trip overseas - He flew on Singapore Airlines on the longest commercial nonstop flight for 18 hours! He is 12 hours ahead of us here in the US... exactly opposite sleep schedule; hopefully he can revert back to normal ;)

While Eddie is traveling around the world, Ali and I decided to adventure to NC for a long weekend.

We left Thurs afternoon, and flew to Charlotte to meet Mama & Daddy. We did some furniture shopping in High Point for the new nursery on Friday and Saturday, then spent the day on the farm on Sunday before flying out early Monday morning.

This is most likely one of Ali's last flights as a "lap child"before she turns 2. She did great traveling on the airplane, through security and the airports and was a perfect little shopper the whole weekend! She is truly amazing and continues to amaze me with the things she understands and knows.

We had lots of fun pointing out all of the bridges/overpasses on the way to High Point or Charlotte. She would say "more bridges"... "under the bridge" and "duck your head" then just cackle!

While I have been giving Ali her bath's each night, I would say let's wash your right arm... left arm... right leg... left leg... Now, when I say let's wash your left foot and she lifts it up out of the water! I've tried changing the order all around, and she knows her right from her left!

She also knows there is a "baby, mommy's tummy" and that she's going to have a little "sister". Baby #2 is doing well. She is very active at night...

We will get through this week and look forward to Eddie coming home late Saturday night!!!
