Ali's camping adventure...

It's another 1st... Camping in Blue Springs
Rye, Eddie & Ali (1 week shy of 6 months old)

April, Chris, Bryleigh & Elliana (twins are 7 1/2 months old)

The campsite is just outside of Deland, Fl. About 2 hrs away.
Lots of babies = Lots of stuff!

Good morning Miss Ali... she did great last night.
The only time she woke up was when Eddie shined the flash light in her eyes
while trying to kill all the mosquitoes in our tent!

Yep! Kristin is pouring the blueberry pancake mix out of a pail ;)Back to the springs for another COLD swim...

We all had lunch together at Peer 16 seafood restaurant before we went
our separate ways. Ali was a little tired from her big camping trip! And Chris had his hands full, as usual!
Bryleigh is in the blue & Elliana in the pink.So sweet! Uncle Dru loves Ali so so much!
... and we made it back home!
Bryleigh & Elliana & Ali are glad to be back in their bed ;)
I would say without a doubt that our camping adventure was a BIG SUCCESS!!!

Ali's 1st email...

I came home from Bible Study Tues night and found a partially typed email from Ali. Eddie said she wanted to say she loved me, so this is what she typed...

She is raking the keyboard and moving the mouse... so cute :)

A day with Mommy...

These pictures are from a couple different days,
but they still represent a typical "Monday with Mama"...

First we get some laundry washed and folded,
then we go to Publix to get groceries for the week,
and to make dinner for Daddy tonight...
When we get home, we play with flash cards, crawl ball, read books... maybe jump around in my jumperoo or watch a Baby Einstein DVD for a little while before it's nap time.

When Daddy get's home, we go for a long walk/run with Hailey.
Then it's bath time! This is a video of Ali's bath in the deep end with all her toys.

I'm really enjoying being able to do the 30hrs/week Reduced Work Week!
I feel like I get to spend lots of quality time with Ali on Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon,
then work Tues-Thurs and be with her in the evenings.
She gets a chance to make friends and be socialized a little,
but still be with me more than at the sitters.
We feel very fortunate to have this as an option!
