Nana and Guga's Visit

Eddie's parents came down from Greensboro, NC
to spend the long Labor Day weekend with us.
We all ate breakfast at our favorite place, Beachside Cafe,
then Pat & I took Ali to her first ballet in Cocoa Beach
while Eddie & Ron played some father/son tennis.
We went to the zoo one day, another day Pat watched Ali while
Eddie, Ron & myself worked in the yard. We had a good time with them!Nana even shared Ali for a minute with Guga...
She can't get enough of her grandbaby when she's with her! Ali loves her Guga!

Good morning sunshine...

Ali had just started sitting up on her own, and she was watching Hailey run around outside early one morning. I just grabbed my camera and started snapping pictures. I love how the lighting is coming in on her.I love these pictures of Ali on our bed in a simple white onesie...
it just shows off our beautiful baby girl!

Dinner @ Bryleigh & Elliana's house

April & Chris invited us over for dinner and a chance to get the girls together.
All three of these girls had the same due date of 4/17/09!
Bryleigh and Elliana were born in early March,
so they are about 6 weeks older than Ali.

They had fun playing on the floor together...
laughing, pushing up and rolling over :-)

Ali & Elliana had fun playing in the exersaucer and jumperoo...
then it was Bryleigh's turn!

We enjoyed watching the girls, talking and comparing stories...

GBS & Bellies --> Babies!

I was posting some pictures from our girls bible study night and found this one, so i thought it would be cute to show the transition from bellies to babies!
This picture is from my baby shower back in March of 09. Caroline, me & Alyson... April had just gone home from the hospital w/ her twins, so she's missing from this picture...

It's more difficult than you think to get these girls and their babies together for a picture!

Uncle Dru to Visit

Dru came down Wednesday night to spend a few days with us.
I'm so glad he came to visit! I love my brother!

Friday Dru went w/ me to playgroup, we had lunch w/ one of his students (flight training)...
Saturday we went to a pool party and cookout w/ some friends...
Sunday we went to church then down to C-54 do do some skiing...

Ali likes being out on the boat!This is funny... we went to target to pick up a few things, and as we were loading up the truck I caught Dru making Ali laugh by throwing the toilet paper up in the air and making a loud noise when he caught it... she would just cackle!

Ali's Sitting Up!

Ali started sitting up on her own today! She's so excited!

Play Time!!!

Today we got together with lots of our little friends at Keenan's house! We had a great time just visiting and watching the kids interact w/ each other. We made some great memories... especially with the multiple attempts at making footprints w/ the plaster of Paris! We discovered that the UltraLight Sculpey clay works much better!
